IMD predicts heavy rainfall at isolated places in West Bengal and Sikkim

<span style="color: #222222;">A spell of moderate rains along with thundershowers drenched parts of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh yesterday, while Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana witnessed light showers in some areas.<br />'' <br />'' The India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain at a few places in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan in the next 24 hours, and rainfall along with thundershower for Uttar Pradesh for Tuesday.<br />'' <br />'' The IMD has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim today. It has also predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Kerala today.<br />'' <br />''The weather department said, strong wind with speed reaching 45-55 kmph is very likely over the Southwest Arabian Sea today. Squally weather with wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph is likely over Southeast Arabian Sea and along and off the Kerala- Lakshadweep areas today, it added. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into these areas.</span><br />
