India Meteorological Department, IMD has predicted that heat wave conditions is likely to continue over Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during the next five days. The Maximum Temperatures were in the range of 42 to 44 degree Celsius over parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. It said, no significant change in maximum temperatures over most parts of the country during the next five days except over Gujarat, where temperatures are likely to fall by 5 to 6 degree Celsius.
