<span style="color: #222222;">As many as five districts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours. This is due to the low pressure area formed over the North East Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood today. The MET department has issued Red warning for districts like Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur and Dhenkanal. The weather department has said that the heavy rainfall likely over a few places in these districts may lead to localised flash flood, inundation of low lying areas and possible damage to kaccha houses besides landslides in hilly areas.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Hardly has Odisha finished its damage assessment exercise following the flood fury in August last, another round of heavy to very heavy rainfall has come knocking on its doors once again. While the met department has issued red s for 5 districts and orange for 10 more, for the next 24 hours, another batch of about 12 districts have been issued with similar forecast lingering into the next day. Accordingly, while the farmers in these districts have been ed over possible damage to standing crops due to submergence, fisherman too have been advised against being sea-bound along and off the Odisha coast till Tuesday next. Meanwhile, the district level machineries in these areas have been kept in readiness to deal with the downpour.</span><br />
