IMD issues avalanche warning for J&K, Himachal and U'khand

India Meteorological Department has issued avalanche warning for higher areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand,advising people not to venture into these areas. IMD today also predicted heavy rain at isolated places over east Arunachal Pradesh, thunder showers with hailstorm at isolated places over Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar and Chhattisgarh for next 48 hours. <br/><br/>Isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram- Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha are likely to witness thunderstorm.<br/>In the national Capital the minimum temperature settled at 16.8 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above normal, whereas the maximum temperature was recorded at 29.5 degrees Celsius.<br/><br/>The Met department has predicted cloudy sky with light rain and thundershowers likely to occurs at one or two places tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperature are likely to hover around 29 degree Celsius and 9 degrees Celsius.
