IMD forecasts respite in cold wave conditions in northwest India from tomorrow

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that cold to severe cold day conditions is likely to reduce over northwest India from tomorrow. It said, the cold day conditions is likely to continue in isolated pockets of Rajasthan till tomorrow.<br />''<br />''Cold to severe cold day conditions were observed in most places over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, west Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh today. The lowest minimum temperature was observed in the plains of Northwest India was 3.8 degree Celsius recorded at Sikar in Rajasthan.<br />''<br />''The weather office said, dense fog conditions will prevail in the morning hours over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura during next five days.<br />''<br />''IMD has also predicted fall of minimum temperatures by 2 to 3 degree Celsius over many parts of Central and East India during the next 3 to 4 days.<br />

<span style="color: #222222;">IMD has said that very dense fog observed early this morning in some parts of Uttar Pradesh where visibility was less than 50 metres. In Bareilly, Varanasi and Gorakhpur visibility was only 25 metres at 5.30 this morning. IMD said, Dense fog with visibility upto 50 to 200 metre were observed in isolated pockets of Rajasthan, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. </span><br />
