IMD forecasts low-pressure area near South Andaman Sea to intensify into Depression over southeast Bay of Bengal during next 12 hrs

The Low Pressure Area over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal now lies as a Well-Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining south Andaman Sea and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid-tropospheric levels.<br />'' <br />''As per the officials of India Meteorological Department at Amaravathi, it is very likely to move north westwards, intensify into a depression over southeast Bay of Bengal during next 12 hours and further into a Cyclonic Storm over East central Bay of Bengal by tomorrow evening.  It is very likely to continue to move North westwards and reach West central and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coasts by 10th May.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Fishermen are advised not to venture into east-central Bay of Bengal during next four days and into West central and Northwest Bay of Bengal on 10th and 11th of May.</span><br />
