<span style="color: #222222;">The Regional Weather Department, Tamil Nadu has predicted a cyclonic circulation over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean. The circulation extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level. The department has warned of light to moderate rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for the next seven days. Heavy rain is likely to occur in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram and Pudukottai district from today. Delta districts are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rain for another two days while heavy rain is likely to continue in Southern districts through all the seven days. Chennai and suburban areas have also been receiving light showers with an overcast sky in the city.</span><br />
