<span style="color: #222222;">The Inter-Ministerial Central Team which is on a visit to Ahmedabad in the light of Covid 19, praised the Gram Yoddha Committee set up by the administration in all the villages. The committee recommended the model to be adopted in the whole country.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, the IMCT today visited the APMC in Sanand and reviewed the procurement process and social distancing norms followed at the marketing yard in view of Covid 19. Talking to AIR, DDO Ahmedabad Arun Mahesh Babu said the team also visited Colgate factory, pharma companies and FCI. The team members expressed happiness over the resumption of agricultural and industrial activities in the state and sufficient stock of food grains but they expressed concern over the supply of labour as the majority of the workers want to go to their natives for a few days. The team highly appreciated the district Panchayat's model of Gram Yoddha Committees to provide doorstep delivery of ration and ensure lockdown norms are followed strictly in the village.<br />'' <br />''<br />''The committee includes Sarpanch, Constable, Patwari Asha workers among others. The team recommended the ministry of Home to adopt the model all over the country. The team also appreciated the mobile testing vans started by the district administration for rapid testing. Meanwhile, another committee that is on a visit to Surat appreciated the use of technology by the city administration in surveillance, contact tracing. It also praised the door to door surveillance being done by the administration to track suspected people.</span><br />
