Indian Mujahideen co-founder Yasin Bhatkal and one of his close associate Asadullah Akhtar have been sent to 3 day transit remand to NIA by Motihari Chief judicial magistrate court today. In evening Yasin Bhatkal along with another IM leader Asadullah Akhtar were produced in Motihari CJM court in tight security. Yasin Bhatkal and Asadullah Akhtar to be brought to Delhi tomorrow. Bhatkal and Akhtar were arrested near Nahar chowk in Raxual sub-division of Bihar’s Motihari district by joint operation by Bihar police and intelligence agencies yesterday night. NIA had announced a reward of Rupees 10 lakh each on Bhatkal and Akhtar wanted in connection with a large number of terror incidents across the country.
