In Pune, an inmate Qateel Siddiqui in Yerawada Jail has been killed by other prisoners today. The inmate Qateel Siddiqui was arrested last month by the Delhi Police on charges of being a member of terror group Indian Mujahideen.

He allegedly helped with terror attacks in Bangalore, Delhi and German Bakery in Pune. He was prime accused in a failed bomb attack at a temple in Pune. A team of Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad visited the spot and carried out the investigations. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Home minister Mr. R.R. Patil has ordered CID enquiry into the incident.
