IM behind J. Dey murder, Mumbai police confirms call from Yemen

The Mumbai Police has confirmed that it received an anonymous call yesterday informing them that the murder of crime journalist, Jyotirmoy Dey was planned and executed by terror outfit Indian Mujahideen. Police sources said the call was received around 6 PM and the anonymous caller said the shooters were hired from Bihar, Shrinagar and Hyderbad and were paid four lakh rupees to murder the Mumbai based journalist. They said the call has been traced to Yemen and investigations are on to verify the information given by the caller. Senior Crime Journalist J. Dey was shot dead by four unidentified gunmen at Powai in Mumbai on the 11th of this month. He was a well known writer on the Oil Mafia and Underworld in Mumbai.
