Illegal mining issue adjourns both houses in Karnataka

Amidst verbal dual and accusations between the treasury and Opposition benches, the Speaker in the Assembly and Chairman in the Council adjourned the House till tomorrow. The Speaker sought the apology of the people for the failure to run the House for the third consecutive day today.

Chief Minister Yeddyurappa charged that many in the Opposition rank are involved in illegal mining in the state and hence insisting upon CBI probe to escape conviction.
