Mining baron and former Karnataka Minister Gali janardhan Reddy who was arrested on charges of illegal mining moved a bail petition before CBI special court in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The bail petition is likely to come up for hearing today. Meanwhile, The CBI’s petition seeking 15-day custody of Janardhan reddy for interrogation is also likely to come up for hearing on Wednesday.

It is known that a CBI-team led by its Joint director Mr.V.V.Lakshmi Narayana arrested Janardhan reddy and OBulapuram Mining Company Managing Director, Mr.Srinivas reddy at Bellary on September 5th. Both Reddys have been put up in Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad after they were remanded to 14-day judicial custody.
