A ten member CBI team has raided the residence of BJP MLA Janardhan Reddy in Bellary. AIR Bellary correspondent reports that raids that began this morning are being carried out in the backdrop of Andhra Pradesh government entrusting the investigation into illegal mining to the CBI when Roshiah was the Chief Minister. Supreme Court had vacated stay on CBI probe in December last year, after which the CBI raided business interests of Reddy brothers in Karnataka and that of Jaganmohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh.
