Illegal mining case: CBI interrogates Reddy in Hyderabad

The CBI is interrogating former Karnataka minister Mr Gali Janardhan Reddy in Hyderabad. After the Special Court declined to grant bail to Mr Reddy on Tuesday, the CBI teams took him to their custody and began interrogation regarding alleged illegal mining in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. As per the court’s orders, Mr Reddy is being grilled in the presence of his lawyers. The CBI teams are also interrogating Obulapuram Mining Corporation Managing Director Mr Srinivas Reddy who was also denied bail. The special Court for CBI in Hyderabad remanded both of them to CBI custody upto 19th of this month after rejecting their bail petitions on Tuesday.
