The CBI arrested former Karnataka Tourism Minister and Mining Czar G. Janardhana Reddy and BJP MLA D. V. Srinivasan Reddy on Monday. They are being taken to Andhra Pradesh for questioning. A ten member CBI team also raided the residence of Janardhan Reddy in Bellary early in tha morning.Raids are being carried out in connection with the probe that CBI launched into the illegal mining in Andhra Pradesh. Raids come after Supreme Court vacated in December last year a stay on CBI probe into the illegal mining in the state.
