The CBI today arrested former Karnataka Tourism Minister and Mining Czar G. Janardhana Reddy and BJP MLA D. V. Srinivasa Reddy. They are being taken to Andhra Pradesh for questioning. A ten member CBI team also raided the residence of Janardhan Reddy in Bellary early this morning. Raids are being carried out in connection with the probe that CBI launched into the illegal mining in Andhra Pradesh. Raids come after Supreme Court vacated in December last year a stay on CBI probe into the illegal mining in the state.
