Delhi Government officials on Thursday conducted raids in various parts of the national capital to check unauthorized sale and distribution of LPG cylinders. The raids were carried out by 53 teams constituted by Department of Food and Supplies. The teams inspected 162 premises located in various areas including Sadar Bazar, Regarpura, Mahipalpur and Dabri of the city and detected illegal LPG cylinders and illegal filling of LPG in 34 premises.An official release said that 34 FIRs have been lodged against the violators and 315 LPG cylinders were seized. It said, the raids will continue and no person found indulging in illegal activities will be spared.
