Illegal Cattle Smuggling Case: ED attaches immovable properties, Mutual Funds worth Rs 2.87 Crore of former BSF Commandant wife under PMLA

<span style="color: #222222;">Enforcement Directorate has provisionally attached four immovable properties and four Mutual Funds having total value of 2.87 Crore rupees in the name of former BSF Commandant Satish Kumar's wife Tanya Sanyal and son Bhaskar Bhuvan under the Prevention Of Money Laundering Act PMLA in illegal cattle smuggling case.<br />''<br />''ED initiated money-laundering investigation on the basis of FIR registered by CBI against then Commandant of BSF Satish Kumar, Md. Enamul Haque and others for illegal cattle smuggling into Bangladesh from India.<br />''<br />''An investigation by ED revealed that a bribe to the tune of 12.8 Crore rupees was deposited by Manoj Sana associate of Enamul Haque in the bank accounts of  Tanya Sanyal and her father Badal Krishna Sanyal. Later on, the Proceeds of Crime were invested in immovable properties and Mutual Funds. Enamul Haq has also been arrested by ED on 18th of this month and currently, he is in ED Custody. Proceeds of Crime to the tune of 179 Crore rupees till now have been identified by ED. </span><br />
