<span style="color: #222222;">A team of IIT Bombay researchers comprising Prof. Ambarish Kunwar and Prof. Kiran Kondabagil from Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, have developed portable UV sanitizer for disinfecting large areas where liquid based chemical disinfection methods can not be used to due to presence of delicate items and electronic devices.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This sanitizer can be easily rolled from one place to another to cover the entire area as well to cover shadow zones for complete inactivation of pathogens.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' UV sanitizer, developed by a team of IIT Bombay researchers has been given to IITB hospital for sanitizing various objects used in the hospital.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This unit can be used in an empty room or area either by a remote operator or by an operator wearing personal protective equipment required for protection from UV radiation.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This researcher team have also planned to develop a robotic version of this UV sanitizer which will be more efficient in disinfecting passenger seats of aircrafts as well as public transport systems such as buses and metros.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Similarly, Solapur Division of Railways has also created a Medical Assistant Ro- Bot to help medical professionals engaged in fighting the coronavirus.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This robot can deliver all the things needed by the patients and the doctors.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Through this robot, patients can also communicate with each other through the video communication system.</span><br />
