Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekr today moved the Indian Institutes of Management Bill,2017 in the Lok Sabha. <br/><br/>The bill seeks to declare certain Institutes of management to be institutions of national importance and empower these institutions to attain standards of global excellence in management, management<br/>research and allied areas of knowledge.<br/><br/>Speaking on the bill, Mr Javadekar said, the legislation will enable these institutions to grant degree to the students. He said, the government will maintain the autonomy and freedom of these institutions.
