Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar today clarified in the Rajya Sabha that the government is shifting the Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT), from Amethi Campus to its main campus in Allahabad in the larger interest of students.<br/><br/>As soon as the House assembled for the day, Mr Javadekar rejected the congress allegation that the Institute is being shifted due to any political vendetta.<br/><br/>The HRD Minister informed the house that since it's establishment there, only one faculty member was attending the campus for all classes. As a result, the students were facing academic difficulties.<br/><br/>He said, the Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University campus is going to be situated in the same premise and skill development training centre will also be setup there.
