IIFF: HC seeks details of selection process for Panorama

Kerala High court today directed the Information and Broadcasting Ministry and Directorate of India International Film Festival to produce the minute details of the jury and record sheet which shows the time taken for viewing movies by jury members for selection of films in the Indian Panorama of the IIFF, being held in Goa next month.<br/><br/>Justice P N Ravindran issued the direction while declining to vacate the stay granted by the court till Monday on publication of results of films selected for the Indian Panorama on a petition moved by the I and B Ministry and the directorate.<br/><br/>However, the court declined the prayers and asked them to produce the documents. The stay has been extended till the documents are produced.<br/><br/>Earlier, on a petition by Malayalam film director Ranjith, the court had stayed the publication of results of the films selected for the Indian Panorama. He had sought a direction to the I&B Ministry to conduct an inquiry into the selection process<br/>
