The ground training department of Indira Gandhi Rastriya Uran Academy Rae Bareli has become India's first ground handling school to get an International Standard Organisation (ISO) certification. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Civil Aviation secretary, Mr. Madhavan Nambiar said the Academy would go from strength to strength . The academy was established under the Ministry of Civil Aviation in 1985 by then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and commenced its operations in 1986. Speaking to AIR, Director of IGRUA Air Marshal (retd) V K Verma said IGRUA not only provide training to the youth but also with excellence .
