The Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU has introduced an 'On-demand Examination' scheme with a view to help students appear in exams as per their convenience. According to the release of IGNOU, those students, who have completed their period of minimum study hours and submitted assignments, can avail this facility. The results of such exam will be announced within two weeks of appearing in the exam. Students can choose the date of test as per their choice and preparation instead of waiting till the term-end examination. The facility would be of immense help of those students who do not find time to appear in all papers in a go during the term-end examination. The on-demand exam will be completely computer-based and will be conducted under camera surveillance. The facility is available for all courses of Bachelor Preparatory Programme, Certificate in Guidance, Certificate in Teaching of English and Certificate in Organic Farming.
