Indira Gandhi International airport has taken several steps to ensure smooth flight operations during low visibility conditions. According to officials of Delhi International Airport Limited, DIAL, some of the measures include lights to parking bays for the Terminal 3 (T3), lowering take-off minima from 150 to 125 metres and computerisation of Ground Lighting Panel for main runway. The new integrated domestic-cum-international T3 and Terminal 1 D (T1D) of the IGI airport are now adequately equipped for the fog period to ensure seamless and comfortable travel. Passengers could also get information from DIAL's website and its call centre.
