The Indira Gandhi International airport in the National Capital has put in place latest technologies and contingency measures to ensure that passengers are not inconvenienced by the fog expected to set later this month. Talking to reporters in New Delhi the Vice President of airport Ashwani Khanna on Friday said that all the necessary arrangements for the coming season have been made. New technologies like computerized air-side route lighting system are being introduced to predict and measure the fog. MET department says the city had not experienced any significant fog so far this month but has predicted heavy fog activity from the third week of this month upto the February next year.
