Indian Film and Television Director's Association has appealed protesters to abide by Supreme Court's decision and let the film 'Padmaavat' release peacefully on 25th January. In a press release issued today, the association has requested exhibitors to stand by the apex court's decision and exhibit the film without any fear.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, as a goodwill gesture, actor Akshay Kumar has postponed the release of his much-awaited film 'Padman'. The movie directed by R Balki was also supposed to release on 25th January, but will now hit the screens on 9th February. This was announced in joint press conference addressed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Akshay Kumar in Mumbai.
