IFFK: At the End of It All selected best Asian movie

In Thiruvananthapuram, the Colombian movie ‘The Colours of the Mountains’ bagged the coveted Suvarnachakoram award with a prize money of Rs 15 lakh at the 16th International film festival of Kerala (IFFK) that concluded on Friday.The week-long festival, noted for its mass participation, showcased about 195 movies from 65 countries. Fifty eminent film personalities graced the festival.One of the Indian entries into the competition section, the movie ‘At The End of It All’ directed by Aditi Roy has been selected as the best Asian film of the festival. Despite, not being in competition section, national award winning Malayalam movie Adaminte makan Abu bagged three awards at this festival. The movie is India's official entry for Oscar.Participation of 10,000 delegates is one of the highlights of the IFFK this year. At the same time, compared to Goa, film screening and other amenities in Thiruvanathapuram for a festival of this magnitude continues to be limited.
