At the ongoing International Film Festival of India IFFI at Panaji in Goa the "Social Media" initiative undertaken at ?the eleven day long extravaganza in the form of "Talkathon" ? innovation ?has ?succeeded in connecting the film lovers from all over the world with the international festival by converging social media tools on one platform i.e. Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. This ?is? the first of its kind initiative, undertaken by the New Media Wing of the Ministry? of I&B since IFFI 2014?. <br/><br/>It drew huge response from Netizens as they posted their queries/views to the celebrity guests on a real time basis. ?This year so far renowned directors such as Shyam Benegal, Subhash Ghai, Aribam Syam Sharma and Hollywood sound designer Milt Shefter participated in Talkathon among others.? On the other hand, Press information Bureau has also started live streaming of its press conferences during IFFI. Besides, the questions are also taken up which netizens ask using the Twitter handle provided by PIB.
