IFFI: Tributes to legendary film maker Satyajit Ray emerges as a salient feature of the event

<span style="color: #222222;">Many sections were set to motion today in ongoing International Film Festival of India – that is IFFI. The festival that was opened yesterday will run till 24th January.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, tributes to legendary film maker Satyajit Ray emerged as a salient feature of the event today. Satyajit Ray retrospective section was inaugurated today with the inaugural film Paather Paanchali. Veteran actor Dhritiman Chatterji was chief guest for the event.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, Directors of opening films of Indian panaroma addressed the press. Saand ki Aankh and Paanchika are opening films for feature and non feature categories. Tushar Hiranandani, director of Saand ki Aankh while briefing media said that he got inspired by a story on Satyamev Jayate show.</span><br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said that rather than only women empowerment perspective, this film stresses more on people who start their life at their 60s. While Director of Paanchika , Ajit Kothari said that Paanchika is a film based on Vyanktesh Madgulkar's story. </span><br />''  <br />
