International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which will begin on Monday at Panaji in Goa, will show two Hindi movies for the visually impaired persons with special audio described technology. <br/><br/>Two films to be screened at IFFI under the Accessible India Campaign are Secret Superstar and Hindi Medium. While Secret Superstar will be screened on 22nd of November, Hindi Medium will be shown on 23rd. <br/><br/>These movies are being shown in collaboration with UNESCO and a Delhi based Saksham Trust. The audio description, gives a visually impaired person, a true sense of what is happening on the screen. Saksham has already audio-described 25 movies and documentaries, including some children's films. <br/><br/>Some of the movies also have subtitles for hearing impaired persons. Screening of such films is aimed at promoting the creation of inclusive spaces for the differently abled to access the joy of cinema through audio description. For the first time last year, three audio described movies ' <br/><br/>Gandhi, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Dhanak were screened during the film festival. IFFI's decision to screen accessible films will certainly help in promoting Accessible India campaign in the country.<br/><br/>
