IFFI starts on Nov 20 in Goa, World's best movies to be shown in Kaleidoscope Section

The Golden Jubilee of International Film Festival of India, IFFI starts on 20th November in Goa. The Kaleidoscope Section will be the major attraction of the festival in this year. Renowned American film critic & Pulitzer Prize winner, Roger Ebert once said,  "Its not about what a movie is about, its how it is about it". His words seem to have found an echo in the Kaleidoscope section of 50th IFFI.<br />'' <br />'' The Kaleidoscope section has 20 films handpicked and curated from various parts of the world. Movies like Parasite, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Synonyms have already generated a lot of buzz in international circuits. They will be screened at the 50th IFFI. Cannes Best Film winner "Parasite" directed by Korean Bong Joon-ho, will have its India Premiere at IFFI this year. It's a dark comedy about the divide between the rich and poor in Korea.<br />'' <br />'' This section also showcases Venice Film Festival Best Actor winner 'A Son' by Mehdi Barsaoui and Cannes Jury Prize winner 'Bacurau'. India Premiere of Locarno Film Festival winner  'Echo' by Rúnar Rúnarsson is another star attraction. Cannes Best Actress winner 'Little Joe' by Jessica Hausner features in this section. Sundance Film Festival Audience award winner 'Queen of Hearts' by May el-Toukhy will be screened here. Most sought after film of the year 'System Crasher' by Nora Fingscheidt is another attraction.<br />'' <br />'' Other films in this section include Levan Akin's "And Then We Danced", Angela Schanelec's "I was at Home, But", The Father by Kristina Grozeva Lara by Jan Ole Gerster & Blanco en blanco directed by Théo Court.
