IFFI providing rare chance to view films screened in Cannes Film festivals

Apart from world class movies in competition and Indian Panorama sections, the ongoing international film festival of India in Goa provides the rare chance to view films screened in this year's Cannes Film festivals. Ten such acclaimed films are to be shown at IFFI. The Hindi film I AM KALAM highlighting the right to education to children, Marathi movie VIHIR in the competition section and Malayalam Movie ELECTRA of Indian Panorama attracted large number of film lovers to the festival on Wednesday. In retrospective section the movie THE NAMESAKE by celebrated director Mira Nair also wooed spectators with its classical touch. Screening of special films associated with the platinum jubilee of Odiya cinema is to be inaugurated on Thursday.
