'New Horizons from North East', the segment to show case the cinematic excellence and its diversity from the beautiful north eastern part of India was inaugurated at the ongoing International Film Festival at Goa today. <br/><br/>Noted film makers from North East- Aribam Syam Sharma, M Maniram and Manju Borah were present to grace the occasion. M Maniram's film 'Xondhikyon' was screened at the opening film of the segment. Prior to it, a colourful cultural program by artists from Manipur mesmerised the audience. There is a huge rush of film fans who are busy booking tickets and jostling around to reach at the right theater at the right time.
