The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2017 will present 195 films from over 82 countries in its 48th edition scheduled in Goa during November 20-28. <br/><br/>Of these, 10 would be world premieres, 10 Asian and International premiers and over 64 Indian premieres. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, the festival will open with Beyond The Clouds by acclaimed filmmaker Majid Majidi and close with the world premier of Indo-Argentinian Thinking of Him directed by Pablo Cesar. <br/><br/>Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will grace the opening ceremony of the festival as a special guest, while Salman Khan will be present at the closing ceremony apart from industry professionals, international guests, dignitaries and film celebrities. <br/><br/>The Indian Panaroma section will be inaugurated by renowned actress Sridevi on November 21. The IFFI 2017 Country Focus on Canada will be celebrated on the same day.<br/><br/>The International Competition section of IFFI 2017 will showcase 15 films competing for the Golden and Silver Peacock awards. <br/><br/>IFFI 2017 will present a specially curated section on James Bond, four films from young filmmakers of the Biennale College under a collaboration with the Venice International Film Festival. <br/><br/>IFFI 2017 will present the Indian film personality of the year award to actor Amitabh Bachchan and the Lifetime Achievement award to Canadian director Atom Egoyan.
