If Pak cooperates New Delhi can walk extra mile to improve relationship with Islamabad: PM

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh said that India can walk the extra mile to open a new chapter in the relationship between New Delhi and Islamabad. Addressing Majlis-al-Shura in capital Riyad, Saudi Arabia today, Dr. Singh said if Pakistan cooperates with India there is no problem which both the countries together cannot solve. He said that there is vast opportunities which will open up for trade, travel and development that will create prosperity in both the neighbouring countries and in South Asia as well. He underlined the need for support by the International community to the government of Afghanistan in restoring peace and development in the country. He said that the scourge of terrorism must be confronted with determination and united efforts.<br/>Petroleum Minister Mr. Murli Deora, Commerce Minister Mr. Anand Sharma, Health and Family welfare Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad and Minister of State for External Affairs Dr. Shashi Taroor were also present at Shura council function.<br/>
