In Assam, a powerful IED bomb was recovered from the Kolkata-Guwahati Kanchanjungha Express at Guwahati Railway Station this morning. The CPRO of the North East Frontier Railway S. Hajong told our Guwahati Correspondent that the bomb was recovered by the Railway police during routine checking at the S-2 Coach of the passenger train when it arrived at Guwahati from Kolkata at 5.15 this morning. The bomb was later diffused by the security forces.
