IEC Vans continue outreach efforts in Maharashtra

With an aim to reach out to each and every eligible beneficiary, the Information, Education and Communication – IEC vans are continuing their journey across Maharashtra even as numerous others continue to be flagged off.<br />''<br />''Union Minister of State for Railways, Raosaheb Patil Danve flagged off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Bej Gram Panchayat in Nashik district today, while district collectors of Raigad, Pune, Amravati, Akola and Washim flagged off the vans from their respective districts.<br />''<br />''Resident Deputy Collector Vishwanath V. Ghuge also said that the administration will try its best to include all eligible beneficiaries under various schemes.<br />''Meanwhile, a demonstration of how fertilizer can be sprayed using drones was held at Armori block of Gadchiroli district. Officials of the state agriculture department also guided the farmers about the usage of organic fertilizers.
