<span style="color: #222222;">Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi has requested states to identify the actual number of children benefiting from Anganwadi centres. <br />''<br />''Addressing the Orientation Workshop on National Nutrition Month (Rashtriya Poshan Maah) in New Delhi today, Mrs Gandhi said, Assam government has identified 14 lakh fake children who were getting benefits from the Anganwadi centres. She said, National Nutrition Month will be celebrated next month across the country. <br />''<br />''During this period, the Ministry will organise programmes to spread awareness on the issues related to malnutrition like stunting, under-nutrition, anemia and low birth weight in children. It will also focus on adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating mothers. Mrs Gandhi said, Poshan Abhiyaan will uproot the shortcomings prevailing in the Health sector in the country. She urged the stakeholders to streamline the system and check the actual beneficiaries of this campaign. <br />''<br />''The Minster also said, during Poshan month, Billboards need to be put up in each district, clearly displaying the Do's and Don'ts about Nutrition.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the National Nutrition Mission from Jhunjunu in Rajasthan in March this year.</span><br />''  <br />
