Comparing their condition with to Kingfisher employees, a section of Air India pilots have sought Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh's intervention in resolving their grievances related to due salaries and allowances.
In a letter to the Minister, General Secretary of the Indian Commercial Pilots Association, ICPA, Captain T Praveen Keerthi said, their salaries and flying allowances have been pending for months and the uncertainty regarding the schedule of payments has become unbearable.
The ICPA General Secretary requested the Civil Aviation Minister to intervene at the earliest and restore normalcy in the Air India.
