The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) towed a fuel tanker back to safe waters yesterday. The tanker was dangerously drifting towards the pristine Katchall Island in Nicobar due to power failure.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The vessel MT Anasthasia-1 enroute to Dubai was carrying 910 MT of bunker fuel along with 24 crew members. Based on the warning issued, the ICG boat from Campbell Bay rushed for the assessment of situation. Later Multi Mission Vessel Vishwast on routine surveillance off Nicobar Islands were also diverted for rescue.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Coast Guard team embarked the vessel and repaired the Fleet Broadband Communication equipment.
