Britain and the Netherlands has maintained, that they are disappointed with voters in Iceland rejecting for a second time, a deal to compensate British and Dutch investors over the collapse of one of the Icelandic banks. The Dutch Finance Minister said the outcome was not good for any body. A British cabinet Minister is also reported to have said that the matter was now likely to go to the court. The British and Dutch Governments were forced to guarantee the savings of their citizens when the Icelandic bank Landsbanki collapsed during the global financial crisis.
