In the ICC Cricket World Cup, South Africa have set a victory target of 342 for UAE in a Pool-B match at Wellington. South Africa had lost opener Hashim Amla early after they were sent in to bat. Quinton de Kock and Rilee Rossouw soon followed. Skipper AB DeVilliers and David Miller then rescued the Proteas with a 108-run fourth wicket stand. DeVilliers, however, missed out on a ton as he was out for 99. Miller made 49. The end-of-innings fiery knock of 64 not out by Farhaan Behardien, then, helped South Africa post 341 for 6 in 50 overs. He scored 25 runs from the last over.South Africa have already made it to the quarterfinals, and a victory today will consolidate their position at the second spot behind Team India in Pool-B. The Proteas have won 3 of their 5 games. UAE, on the other hand, have lost all of their 4 matches played uptil now, and are out of the contention of a knock-out stage berth.
