In the ICC Cricket World Cup, Sri Lanka have set a target of 242 runs before Afghanistan at MCA Stadium in Pune. Sri Lanka were all out for 241 in 49.3 overs.
 
Earlier, Afghanistan won the toss and elected to field.
 
This will be the sixth match of both teams in the ICC World Cup 2023. Both teams have won two matches out of their five matches till now and will boost their chances for semifinal qualification with a win in today's match.
 
Sri Lanka is currently at 5th position and Afghanistan at 7th place with both having four points in the league table.
