India entered the semi-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup beating defending champions Australia 5 wickets at Motera in Ahmedabad last night. India will clash with their arch rivals Pakistan in the semi-finals at Mohali on Wednesday. After restricting Australia to 260 for 6, the Indians held their nerves to overhaul the target with 14 balls to spare with Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina being the star batting performers. Yuvraj Singh was declared Man of the Match. For Australia, Ricky Ponting, Brad Haddin and David Hussey were the notable performers.
