ICC World Cup Cricket: West Indies beat Pakistan by 150 runs

West Indies have registered a huge margin victory of 150 runs over Pakistan in a Pool B game played at Christchurch in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Pakistan had one of the worst starts while chasing a big target of 311, as they were reduced to 4 for just one run. Umar Akmal with 59 and Shoaib Maqsood at 50 played the complimentary innings, while rest of the team fizzled out at a total of 160 in 39 overs.West Indian bowlers Jerome Taylor and Andre Russell picked 3 wickets each. Earlier being asked to bat first West Indies posted 310 for 6 in a constructive innings with two half centuries from Dinesh Ramdin and Lindl Simmons, while Andre Russell blasted 42 of just 13 balls to push the score to a respectable mark. He was also adjudged man of the match for his all around effort.Meanwhile, the other game to be played between co hosts Australia and Bangladesh at Brisbane has been delayed due to rain.
