ICC World Cup: Bangladesh set 268 runs target for Afghanistan

In the ICC Cricket World Cup today, Bangladesh have posted 267 all out in stipulated 50 overs, in front of a debutant team Afghanistan. In a Pool A match played at Manuka Oval, Canberra, Bangladesh started their innings cautiously as they lost their first wicket in 15th over at 47. Afghanistan's Mirwais Ashraf provided the breakthrough. After losing wickets in quick succession, Bangladeh's innings was stabilised by a 5th wicket partnership of 114 runs between Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim. Shakib scored a quick knock of 63 with Mushfiqur Rahim scoring 71. For Afghanistan, Shapoor Zadran, Mirwais Ashraf Hamid Hasan and Aftab Alam took two wickets each.
