The International Cricket Council Women's World Cup Qualifier 2011 tournament will begin in Dhaka on Monday. The tournament is being hosted by the Bangladesh cricket board from 14th to 26th November with ten teams set to battle it out in two groups to qualify for the remaining four spots in the ICC Women's World Cup 2013. South Africa, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, Zimbabwe and USA are placed in Group A of the tournament while West Indies, Pakistan, Ireland, Japan and hosts Bangladesh are placed in Group B. World champion England along with Australia, India and New Zealand have already qualified for the ICC Women's World Cup 2013 by virtue of finishing in the top four at the 2009 event. India will the hosting the ICC Women's World Cup which is women's cricket's leading 50-over tournament for the third time in 2013. India had previously hosted the 1978 and 1997 editions of the tournament.
