ICC Women's World Cup: England beat South Africa by 137 runs to enter finals

In the 2nd semifinal of the ICC Women's World Cup, England beat South Africa by 137 runs at Christchurch today to enter the finals. Put in to bat, England set a victory target of 294 runs for South Africa. Opener Danni Wyatt starred for England as she scored 129 off 125 deliveries. Sophia Dunkley contributed 60 runs.  

Chasing the target, South Africa could score only 156 runs in 38 overs. Mignon du Preez with 30 runs was the top scorer while Lara Goodall contributed 29 runs. Earlier, South Africa won the toss and opted to field first. Yesterday, Australia defeated West Indies in the first semifinal at Wellington to cruise into the finals. The final match will be played in Christchurch on Sunday.
